The Foundation secures and administers grant funding. The Coalition leads outreach, events, and technical assistance. Two impact stories show what that funding has done so far.
Each story names the funder, the purpose, the work completed, the people reached, the measurable results, and what comes next.

RAFI CoolBot Cold-Storage Project
RAFI grant funding helped the Foundation build two mobile CoolBot cold-storage units. The Foundation donated both units to the South Carolina Black Farmers Coalition so more farmers can keep produce cold between field and market.
The Foundation administers a land-retention grant; the Coalition leads the outreach, education, and technical assistance it funds. The first workshop, “Keeping It in the Family: Protecting Black Family Land and Preserving Legacy,” reached 37 attendees at Penn Center on August 22, 2026.
